Parlock now sedated so that we can assess his injuries. He has very obvious bruising to his lower abdomen and groin area, with an ugly open wound on the inside of his left thigh, and a swelling near his left ankle that feels as if it could be a fracture. This monkey has been in a lot of pain these past few days. He has been treated with painkillers and anti inflammatories, abti-biotics and has been re-hydrated with sub cut ringers. He will feel a lot better, pain free and a lot more comfortable when he wakes up. Now waiting for him to be x-rayed.
